I can't believe I did this... I confess I've become more and more fanart crazy over the past year. Going through a phase. I'm 25, and the last time I went through a fanart phase was when I was 11... or 12.

Anyways, here is Beetlejuice from the cartoon by the same name, in the style of the anime Ouran High School Host Club. I was inspired to do this by some fanfiction I have been reading. Yeah, I also going through a fanfiction phase. First time going through one of those.

While reading this bit of fanfiction I had to try hard to imagine BJ as NOT looking like he did in the cartoon, and I did that by imagining him the style of an anime I currently love, Ouran Host Club. So that's the reason behind this picture.

Before this I had never had any desire to draw Beetlejuice. None at all. He was way to annoying. I occasionally felt like drawing Lydia, she was cool. But I like the Beetlejuice in the fanfiction I read, which is "Beetlejuice Afterlife: A New Beginning" by spencers13, and it's sequal "Beetlejuice Afterlife: Dark Shadows."
